The VMP70 lacks the Internet connectivity featured on many competitor players (such as the WD TV), but makes up for this with extensive format compatibility, including MPEG1/2/4, DivX/Xvid, WMA, MP3, and much much more. Note that an S/PDIF port is also included for clean, clear, and crisp audio. The ViewSonic VMP70 retails for an MSRP of $129.99, but was initially released during the 2009 holiday season at a highly anticipated $99.99 discount price.

#viewsonic_vmp70 Instead of having to connect your PC to a streamer and then to a TV, you now just put the video on a USB flash drive, hook it up to the VMP70, and walla. It's simpler and easier, and requires less wires.
