In this way, you are able to stream internet content (such as Netflix, Hulu, BBC iPlayer, and YouTube, among others). The PC to TV link is wireless (making setup easy), but you can also use the Veebeam SD with a Mac (compatible with OS X 10.5 and 10.6). The Veebeam SD requires a laptop with at least a 2.2 GHz or greater Intel Core 2 Duo processor to work, and is not compatible with netbooks. You can use your laptop track and keyboard pad to control the playback of the internet content. This streamer is a step down from the higher cost Veebeam HD streamer in that it lacks the HD's 2 USB sockets (for webcam and external hard-drive support), HDMI connector, digital surround sound audio, and 1080p playback (1280x1024 resolution for movies/photos/desktop). The Veebeam SD comes with a one year warranty.
