The Sling Receiver 300 is a simple media streamer that uses advanced technology to create a unique entertainment experience in a household. Similar to most media streamers, the device's main feature is it stream television content from one HDTV to another so DVR programs can be shared and watched in multiple rooms.

Along with displaying high-quality HDTV viewing of DVR content, owners can control live and recorded programs with the remote and filter them by different categories such as genre, network, date and HD content.
