Video is recorded and viewed in full 1080p high definition, and stored on a built-in 2 Terabyte drive. Connection to the home network is run through a built-in 802.11n WiFi adapter, and with the included 1 year PlayOn subscription users can access content from Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon VOD.

Digital cable television can be viewed through the device as well, with Timeshift functions enabling pausing and rewinding of live TV, recording of specific programs, and the recording of one show while another is being watched.
